Position OverviewA nationally prominent academic Department of Radiology is seeking a Division Lead for Cardiothoracic Imaging to provide strategic, clinical, and academic leadership across multiple clinical sites in a major New York City borough. Lead and expand advanced cardiothoracic and nuclear imaging services across four clinical sites

Oversight includes:

General and cardiac nuclear medicine

SPECT and SPECT-CT

PET-CT
-
Theranostics
-

Serve as Authorized User for the medical center, advising on new radiopharmaceuticals and therapeutic agents

Active participation in:

Interdisciplinary tumor boards

Multidisciplinary conferences in collaboration with:

Children’s Hospital
-
Comprehensive Cancer Center
-
Center for Transplantation

Work closely with internal and external partners, including industry leaders and federal agencies

Major role in education of medical students, residents, and fellows in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology

Division supported by a cutting-edge small animal imaging facility, including:

PET/CT

SPECT/CT

MRI
