Job description General Radiologist – Remote or On-Site

Altoona, Pennsylvania

Clinical Opportunity

A world-class, integrated health system is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Radiologist to join its expanding radiology team. This opportunity offers remote (teleradiology) or on-site options, with full-time or part-time flexibility.

Candidates must be residency trained in general radiology and eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.

Position Highlights

Radiology Department
  • Join a group of 19 radiologists, including:

    • 6 Neuroradiology / MSK / Body Imaging

    • 2 Mammographers (1 part-time)

    • 2 Interventional Radiologists

    • 2 Nuclear Medicine / PET Radiologists

  • Supported by physician extenders and experienced nursing staff

  • Part of one of the largest academic radiology departments in the U.S., with:

    • 184+ radiologists

    • 31 research faculty

    • 67 residents and fellows

  • Health system support through robust teleradiology infrastructure

Technology & Systems
  • PACS: Philips iSite (transitioning to Philips Vue PACS)

  • Dictation: PowerScribe

  • EMR: Cerner (inpatient), Epic (outpatient)

    • Full Epic conversion planned for Fall 2025
