VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Radiology.

- Description: Williston is in need of long-term radiology locums coverage beginning as soon as credentialed. The locums will be onsite to complete minor procedures and image reads such as: diagnostic mamos breast biopsy barium enema small bowel follow through upper GI epidural steroid injection abscess drainage medicare overreads. Bid Due Date: 06/27/24 at 3PM Schedule/Availability Requirements:2 weeks per month 7a-7p M-Fno call Details: Duties: The locums will be onsite to complete minor procedures and reads such as: diagnostic mamos breast biopsy barium enema small bowel follow through upper GI epidural steroid injection abscess drainage medicare overreadsDays per month: Two weeks Required Procedures:Breast localization for OR with magseed/magtrace- willing to learn: breast cyst aspirations stereotactic breast biopsies Arthrograms/Joint aspirations/Joint InjectionsCT CystogramsPICC Line placement Lumbar puncturesHysterosalpingogramsBone Marrow BiopsyUltrasound biopsy of lymph nodes muscle kidney thyroid abscess drainageESI SI injections Facet injections - not all radiologists do all the injections but as many of them as possible would be niceEMR: MeditechReason for Coverage: recruiting for perm Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility: 25 bed CAH hospital.Average daily census 12.7 licensed for 25 inpt beds which includes OB have an additional 19 observation bedsWe support 3 general surgeons 2 orthopedic surgeons 1 FP provider with OB and 3 OB/GYN providers with an average of 50-60 births per month Level 4 trauma center2023 stats: Added in documents.They do about 2300 imaging procedures a month. Credentialing Information:Timeframe: Faster credentialing time line if candidate has a ND license. Payor Enrollment 60-90 daysCredentialing with other facilities? No Travel Preferences see attachment for specific travel guidelines: Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotels In the event that the CommonSpirit Health preferred hotel is not available hotel/lodging rates will be reimbursed based on actual expense up to 1.5 times the current GSA rate for the market. [Register to View] Air Travel: Air travel okay 750/round trip capRental Cars: 65/day all in cap including taxes and fees regardless of car class.Mileage: IRS Standard RatePlease detail any anticipated travel exceptions for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations. Travel exception requests will be denied if this information is not part of the provider presentation. Please also indicate the city where provider will be traveling from in the travel section of the provider submission. Rates to Submit see attachment for specific rate structure guidelines: Malpractice Rate - Must be included in rate. Orientation half the hourly rate kicks in after 8 hours - per hour of training or orientation beyond 8 hoursHoliday rates - 1.5x the regular rate Daily - to encompass all shifts and hours worked - 5996-7495 PLEASE REFER TO THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT FOR NAME CLEAR AND PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS!
