Job Responsibilities

-Perform and interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms, including digital mammography, breast tomosynthesis (3D mammography), and breast ultrasound.
-Conduct breast biopsies and other interventional procedures as needed.
-Collaborate with other radiologists, technologists, and healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care.
-Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and consultations to discuss complex cases and treatment plans.
-Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, including imaging studies, reports, and patient data.
-Stay current with advances in imaging technology, techniques, and guidelines through continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications

-Medical degree from an accredited institution.
-Board certification in radiology.
-Fellowship training in breast imaging or mammography.
-Valid medical license to practice in the state of North Carolina.
-Ability to interpret a wide range of breast imaging studies accurately and efficiently.
