**Radiology Department Chair opening in Wisconsin** 90 miles to Minneapolis, MN - Full Time - Employed Radiology department is seeking a chair to lead the Northwest Wisconsin region of this health system. The Regional Radiology Chair, in collaboration with nursing and administrative partners, will provide strategic direction and oversee the ongoing performance of the regional department, be responsible for recruitment and retention of outstanding staff, and ensure the alignment and development of critical resources to achieve the goal of being a community Radiology practice that also honors the tradition of clinical practice, research, and education. - Exemplify group's principles and values. - Guide and set direction for the regional department within the framework of institutional and MCHS/Enterprise Radiology policy and direction, in collaboration with other department and institutional leaders, and in partnership with the regional Imaging Director and Radiology teams outside of the region. - Oversee the day-to-day performance of the regional department as set forth by annual plans and priorities. - Collaborate with radiologists on site-level, Midwest, and Enterprise Radiology related initiatives and activities. - Provide stewardship of regional departmental resources to serve the institutional good while promoting the long-term growth and development of the practice. - Ensure that patients receive the highest quality care (outcomes, safety, and service). - Nurture the development and diversity of staff, and mentor the current and next generation of leaders. - Promote the discovery and effective delivery of leading-edge medical science and treatment. - Advance the Departments research and academic mission. Key Responsibilities of the Regional Radiology Department Chair - Shape the regional Radiology Department Vision - develop a shared vision and provide strategic direction for the future of the regional department while also achieving excellence in community practice. - Develop Staff and Organization Capabilities - develop staff and organization capabilities to provide for present needs and build for the future. - Develop and support the scholarly mission and contribute to practice transformation by promoting team science that focuses on addressing the unmet needs of our patients. - Establish Business Plans in partnership with the regional imaging director and nursing leadership, establish plans and allocate resources to achieve strategic priorities. - Manage Performance and Resources - oversee day-to-day operations to ensure excellence and promote continuous improvement. - Implement and Support our Model of Care - Promote Collaboration and Communication Eau Claire, with a metro area of 163,000 is home to the 11,000 students at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.
