SCHEDULE:

This organization is a privately-owned group that acts and serves as providers of radiology services to hospitals nationwide. They opened in 2022 and are proud to be fully engaged in the process of building practices designed to best meet the needs of each facility, as well as its patients. They offer resources in finance, marketing, business development, credentialing, human resources, revenue cycle management, and more. They are currently hiring due to growth.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The diagnostic radiologist will be employed by a private practice, working in a hospital setting.

Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- review and interpret medical images to determine patient status and future medical care
- determine the exact images required for diagnosis
- deliver orders to radiological technicians
- administer trace amounts of radioactive substances to create and enhance diagnostic images
- perform minimally invasive surgical techniques (angioplasty, etc.) with image guidance
- work with PCPs, RNs, and RTs to administer treatment and manage pain
- monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- create radiation treatment plans for patients with cancer
- manage radiation side effects in cancer patients

The organization uses the Epic and Merge Healthcare EHRs with PowerScribe 360 for dictation.

Physicians are fully supported in all work, including administrative services through the MSO and access to the most advanced, cutting-edge technology.

The schedule for this position includes 40 weeks on-site per year and 8 full weekends per year - weekends consist of two (2) 9-hour shifts. There are multiple options for shifts and the schedule details are mutually agreed upon between the practice and physician during the interview and hiring process.


REQUIREMENTS:
- South Carolina medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Radiology
- Fellowship training required
- clean malpractice history
