**MSK Radiology Opening - Maywood, IL**
Located 20m to Chicago
**Job Description**
- Full-time, permanent
- Mon-Fri 8-4
- Join a growing Radiology Department with over 50 subspecialized radiologists.
- Board Certified in Radiology and MSK Fellowship-Trained required.
- On-site position with participation in interventional procedures, including MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsy.
- Hospital-based practice setting with an 8000-9000 RVU expectation.
- Weekday and weekend call duties fulfilled remotely with functional PACS/Voice recognition systems.
- Strong interest in clinical and formal resident education is essential.
- Opportunities for clinical and translational research.
- 5-90% plain film, 10-15% CT/MR
- 2 Types of Call: Weekday 4pm-11pm call from home (only with no day shifts on those days) about on average once a week. Also, weekend call about 7 calls per year.
- Intermittent evening shift and weekend call duties are fulfilled remotely from home with fully functional PACS/Voice recognition systems.
- In addition to clinical work, strong interest in clinical and formal resident education is essential.
- Average Number of Cases Per Day: Mix plain film and cross sectional. 110 xrays, 20 MRIs/CT/Ultrasound
- Number of Radiologists in Practice: Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in department 41 FTE
- Teleradiology is not used for MSK
- Patient Age Demographic: All ages, but pediatrics not required
- There are opportunities for clinical and translational research if interested.
- Consideration may be given for appointment as Section Chief for the appropriate candidate.
- EMR: Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, Softek Illuminate
**Requirements**
- Board Certified in Radiology.
- Fellowship-Trained in MSK Radiology.
- Active IL license (or willing to obtain).
- BLS certification.
- Proficiency in procedures: MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsy.
