Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
A hospital in Indiana is in need of locums coverage for the dates of November 23-25, and 27, and December 7-11, December 21-24, and December 28 - 31. The site is looking for a board certified radiologist who can read around 100 studies per day, with a good mix of cross sectional studies. Light interventional and mammography are a plus, but not required. Looking for strong diagnostic radiologist.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
