Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 01/04/2016Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Our client in Arkansas is looking for a Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist with Mammography Experience Preferred. MQSA certification preferred not required. 2 weeks per month starting in January 2016 through June 2016.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday
8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Weeknight and Weekend call optional
Practice Description: General Diagnostic Radiologist with Mammography Experience to cover 2 weeks per month. Client is flexible on the weeks and will pay for travel and lodging. This is a busy ED with a lot of CT Spine, Chest and Pelvis reads. Volume is about 80 reads per day to include about 25 Plain Film, 20 MR, 20 final reads and the rest being Breast Imaging, CT and Ultrasound. PACS system is Sectra and Voice Recognition is Powerscribe 360.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
