General & Interventional Radiologist needed in New Mexico
Located in Artesia, NM
Southwestern Desert climate (located in Southeast New Mexico)
240 miles to Albuquerque NM; 170 miles to Lubbock TX
MQSA current, prefer current reader
Interventional Radiologist (CT Guided biopsy, Ultrasound Guide biopsy, PICC lines, Para/Thora, CT guided drainages, etc.)
Fluoro procedures
Read all Modalities (Plain film, CT, MRI, Mammo, US (General, Vascular), Nuc Med, PET Scan
Average Daily Volumes 70-80 reads
Monday Friday (8-5pm)
The radiologist works closely with the technologist staff, helps guide patient care within the department. Works closely with medical staff and helps guide patient care for Radiological procedures. Good Communicator, Instructor and educator. Willing to help grow the radiology department. Current on all Imaging techniques and standards of care. Must have been on a previous Radioactive Materials License (RAM license).
