Tele Rads Needed for an Academic Setting

A busy teaching hospital in Westchester County NY is in need of additional tele Radiologists. Ideal candidates must be committed to patient care, resident and medical student education and scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine. New hire must enjoy teaching; there are 20 residents in total. Research is not required. Summer months are always the busiest time of year. They are seeking:

Day time Hours - Ideal candidate would be a Fellowship trained Body Imager but client will look at all qualified candidates. This is a very high-volume department; they need new hire to have expertise in General body modalities - CT/MR/US. Must be proficient in Body MR. Work Monday through Friday, from 8 am- 5 pm EST. Salary offer is 550k with opportunity for an additional bonus up to 9% will be available. Can also work additional shifts for 3k/shift. Five (5) weekends a year are required with post call day off. Benefits include occurrence malpractice, 5 weeks’ vacation plus comp time when on call, 5k CME, 5 days CME and more.

Second Shift - New hire must be proficient in general modalities to include basic Body MR, Body CT and plain films. Work Monday through Friday from 4 pm until 10 pm EST, from your home. Salary offer is 550k with opportunity for an additional bonus up to 9% will be available. Can also work additional shifts for 3k/shift. Five (5) weekends a year are required with post call day off. Benefits include occurrence malpractice, 5 weeks’ vacation plus comp time when on call, 5k CME, 5 days CME and more.

Overnight Shift - Work 7 on 14 off, hours are 10 pm until 8 am EST. New hire will cover one main hospital as well as a small hospital in an outlying community. New hire must be interested in working with residents. This position is to cover the ER, must be proficient with MR/CT/Neuro and body, these are final reads. Volume is 100 to 125 studies. Studies consist of 50-65 CT; 40-50 x-ray; 10 US; 1-2 MRI. Salary offer is 700k with opportunity for an additional bonus up to 9% will be available.
