PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Demographics: Adults
  • Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 610 procedures per day
  • Phone Consults: Included as needed
  • Case Mix: Dialysis access procedures including catheters, declot procedures, and fistulagrams

FACILITY INFORMATION
  • EMR System: AdvancedMD
  • Office Equipment Available: Interventional radiology suite and standard outpatient equipment
  • Support Staff Available: Radiology technologists, nurses, and medical assistants
  • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental outpatient interventional radiology coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: No
  • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 2448 hours

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Orientation: All hours billable
  • Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Dialysis access catheter placements and exchanges
  • Dialysis access declot procedures
  • Fistulagrams

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active California medical license required
  • Board: Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
  • DEA: Active DEA required
  • Certifications: As required by facility
  • Experience: Experience with outpatient dialysis access procedures required
  • Other Qualifications: Ability to work independently in a high-efficiency outpatient setting

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform outpatient interventional radiology procedures focused on dialysis access
  • Provide safe, efficient procedural care in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Collaborate with technologists, nursing staff, and medical assistants
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the AdvancedMD EMR
  • Ensure compliance with clinical quality and safety standards
