Job description
A healthcare facility in California is seeking Diagnostic Radiologists to provide weekend daytime teleradiology coverage. This role focuses on general diagnostic reads including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and X-ray. Work is remote—however, physicians must reside in CA, CO, MI, NY, SC, or FL and hold an active California license.

- January: 3-4, 10-11, 24-25
- February: 7-8, 21-22
- March: 7-8
- April: 4-5
- May: 2-3, 30-31
- June: 13-14, 27-28

Days: Weekends only (Saturday & Sunday)

Shift Options: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Duration: 8-hour shifts

FTE: 1–2 providers needed

Setting: Hospital-based inpatient and outpatient reads

Average Daily Volume (Shared Between 2 Providers):

~75 CTs
-
~20 MRIs
-
~200 X-rays
-
Modalities: CT, MRI, US, X-ray (general diagnostic)

Preferred Experience: MSK and Body Imaging

Equipment Provided: Workstation setup supplied by facility

Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist – Required

Active California Medical License – Required

California Fluoroscopy Supervisor & Operator Permit – Required

Residency Requirement: Must reside in CA, CO, MI, NY, SC, or FL

Fellowship Training: Not required

Malpractice History: Clean preferred

Reason for Coverage: Short-staffed radiology department

Credentialing Timeline: Up to 90 days
