Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Radiologist for a locum assignment to support a transitioning group practice model. This role involves weekday onsite coverage with evening and weekend call responsibilities in a high-volume academic hospital setting, with limited hybrid remote flexibility.
Job Responsibilities
Provide weekday onsite coverage with evening and weekend call
Utilize EPIC, PowerScribe, and PACS systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams
Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and patient-centered imaging care
Support hospital-based diagnostic services during a transitional employment model
Qualifications
Fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine (highly preferred)
Active Connecticut medical license or eligibility to obtain
DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification
BLS certification (ACLS optional depending on subspecialty)
Experience in high-volume radiology environments
Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days at presentation)
Working Hours
Evening call: Monday–Friday until 8:00 PM
Weekend call: Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Assignment length: 3–6 months starting March 21, 2026 (extension possible)
