Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time Neuroradiologist to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the entire spectrum of Neuroradiology diagnostic imaging and lumbar puncture procedures.
- $349,000k/ year salary
- Relocation/Recruitment Incentive Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP)- Assistance with payment of outstanding medical school loans up to $200K over 5 years (max CME: $1,000 per year stipend for reimbursement;)
- 5 Days paid CME absence
- Malpractice: Liability protection 50-55 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
- Federal Retirement Plan Separate 401K with partial agency match Health, Dental & Vision Insurance
Qualifications
• Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology Fellowship in Neuroradiology (preferred) CAQ certified or eligible (preferred)
• Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (preferred)
Working Hours
*The facility has NTP nighthawk coverage for after hour on weekdays and all-day weekends and Holidays. The on-call radiologist is available to cover if there is a problem sending cases to NTP, available to answer consults and cover for urgent lumbar puncture procedures. *
