Genie healthcare is seeking a Board Certified, MSK Fellowship -Trained faculty member to join the Department of
Radiology and Medical Imaging with primary location in Maywood, Illinois, approximately 12 miles from
downtown Chicago. Job Description:
Candidates must be Board Certified in Radiology and fellowship-trained in Musculoskeletal Radiology (MSK)Exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the
full spectrum of imaging modalities/procedures relevant to MSK imaging. This is
an on-site position with participation in interventional procedures including MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsyPractice setting is hospital-based
2 Types of Call: Weekday 4pm-11pm call from home (only with no day shifts on those days) about on average once a week. Also, weekend call about 7 calls per year.
Intermittent evening shift and weekend call duties are fulfilled
remotely from home with fully functional PACS/Voice recognition systems. Average Number of Cases Per Day: Mix plain film and cross sectional. 110 xrays, 20 MRIs/CT/UltrasoundTrauma Level/Designation: Loyola = Trauma 1, MNH and GMH = Trauma 2
Number of Radiologists in Practice: Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in department 41 FTE
Teleradiology is not used for MSKPatient Age Demographic: All ages, but pediatrics not required

for clinical and translational research if interested. EMR: Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, Softek Illuminate
Credentialing timeline: usually 2-3 months (depends on if physician has IL license in hand or not)
