- On-site Locum Tenens Opportunity for a MSK Fellowship Trained Radiologist
- 12 miles from downtown Chicago
- No Teleradiology
- Academic Medical Center with over 50 subspecialized radiologists serving multiple hospitals, Level I and II Trauma Centers
- Perform a full spectrum of imaging/procedures relevant to MSK imaging.
- Interventional procedures including MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsy required
- 2 Types of Call: Weekday 4pm-11pm call from home (only with no day shifts on those days) about on average once a week.
- Intermittent evening shift and weekend call duties are fulfilled remotely from home with fully functional PACS/Voice recognition systems.
- Weekend call is on avg 7x a year
- Case mix: Mix of plain film and cross sectional. 110 xrays, 20 MRIs/CT/Ultrasound
- Number of Radiologists in Practice: Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in department 41 FTE
- EMR: Epic, Powerscribe 360, Interad PACs, Softek Illuminate
- Research opportunities available
- IL State License- can accept those willing to apply

- Must be comfortable performing full range of procedures identified above
- Credentialing timeline: usually 2-3 months (depends on if physician has IL license in hand or not)
