We have an ongoing need at one of our practices in Northern California. We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist for 1 week a month ongoing. Here are a few details. Please let me know if you have any interest.
Setting: Inpatient Call only
Start Date: ASAP-- one week per month to fill in as needed
Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
Patients per day: average is 10-12 pts per day
Call: Call is a week at a time, Monday to Monday (MAY be flexible)
3-5 calls per 24 hour period
SKILL REQUIREMNETS
Board certification required: BC or BE
Procedures:
- Imaging guided procedures, parasentesis, thorasentesis (general interventional procedures)
Procedures:
- Cancer
- Chronic pelvic pain
- PAD
- renovascular
- UFE
- varicose veins
- venous disease & filters
- vertebroplasty
- TIPS
- Catheter placements and exchanges (tunneled and non-tunneled catheters)
- Drain placements including nephrostomy and biliary tubes
- Biopsies (Liver, Lung, Kidney, lymph nodes, etc)
- Arterial interventions such as gastrointestinal and splenic embolizations and peripheral angioplasty, atherectomy, and stenting
- Dialysis interventions (catheter placements, declot, fistulograms)
- IVC filter placements and removals
- Kyphoplasty
- Paracentesis and thoracentesis
- Gastrostomy tube placements and exchanges
- Venous interventions such as DVT/PE thrombolysis
