Job description
Interventional Radiology locums coverage in Minnesota with a long-term need and a predictable weekday schedule. Adult IR with an average of 8 to 10 patients per day and call in a 1:2 rotation.
Highlights
- Long-term assignment, ASAP for one year with a one-year option
- Weekday schedule, Monday through Friday
- Average volume of 8 to 10 patients per day
- Call required, 1:2 rotation
Practice Setting
- Adult Interventional Radiology coverage
- Clinical responsibilities include IR consults and post-procedure evaluation and follow-up
- Vascular ultrasound interpretation as part of the role
- Work collaboratively with Imaging staff leadership and hospital clinicians, may supervise physician residents
Schedule
- Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Call is required, 1:2 rotation
- Start date expected around mid-January 2026, ongoing coverage need
Cases and Procedures
- Angiography, embolization, and stent placement
- Biopsies
- Consultation regarding IR procedures
- Post-procedure evaluation and follow-up care
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology
- Active state licensure
- BLS and DEA required
