Clinical Responsibilities
The selected physician will perform a broad range of vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures, including:
Vascular Procedures
- Diagnostic angiography
- Embolization procedures
- Trauma embolization
- Gastrointestinal bleed embolization
- Catheter-directed thrombolysis
- IVC filter placement and retrieval
Non-Vascular Procedures
- Nephrostomy tube placements
- Percutaneous cholecystostomy
- Abscess drainage procedures
- Emergency and urgent intervention cases
Additional Duties
- Trauma-related IR procedures involving splenic, hepatic, and pelvic embolization
- Inpatient consultations and admissions
- Participation in resident education
- Preferred candidates will be comfortable interpreting diagnostic imaging studies between procedures
Qualifications
Required:
- Board Certified in Radiology
- ABR Certification
- Active, unrestricted Michigan medical license
- Active DEA registration
- BLS certification
Credentialing
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
- Temporary privileges available
