Physician - Radiology - Interventional Radiology in New York

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Full-time onsite coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotational call during weekday evenings from 4:30 PM to midnight and weekends and federal holidays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Job Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology department
• Types of Cases: Angiography, angioplasty and stent placement, biopsies, biliary interventions, central lines, chemoembolization, dialysis-access interventions, drain and tube procedures, embolization, IVC filters, lumbar punctures, myelograms, paracentesis, gastrostomy placement, thoracentesis, vertebroplasty, and related IR procedures
• Credentialing: VA credentialing, privileging, background investigation, and Facility Medical Executive Board and Medical Center Director approval required before services begin; credentialing timeframe and emergency privileges are not specified

Minimum Requirements for Consideration

• Board Certified: Interventional Radiology (American Board of Radiology) required
• Certifications: Current ACLS and BLS; moderate sedation privileges required
• Licensure: Current, full, and unrestricted New York State medical license required
