GlobalPoint Healthcare is seeking Interventional Radiologists for a long-term, on-site opportunity in Syracuse, New York, providing specialized radiology services while serving our Nation’s Veterans.

We currently have 2 positions available. The selected physicians will provide Interventional Radiology services in a collaborative medical center environment and work alongside other physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

This opportunity offers a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule and a long-term assignment anticipated to continue through October 2031.

Job Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive Interventional Radiology physician services.
* Evaluate patients and determine appropriate interventional radiology procedures based on clinical indications.
* Perform image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within approved clinical privileges.
* Review relevant medical histories, imaging studies, laboratory results, and other clinical information prior to procedures.
* Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure patient evaluation and management.
* Develop appropriate treatment recommendations and plans of care.
* Monitor patients for potential complications associated with interventional procedures.
* Provide appropriate follow-up care and recommendations.
* Interpret applicable diagnostic imaging and procedural findings.
* Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
* Communicate findings and treatment recommendations clearly and promptly.
* Maintain complete, accurate, and timely medical documentation.
* Follow applicable patient-safety, infection-control, quality, and clinical standards.
* Maintain all required credentialing and clinical privileges throughout the assignment.
* Provide professional, compassionate, patient-centered care to Veterans.

Qualifications

* MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
* Completion of appropriate residency and fellowship training.
* Board Certification or Board Eligibility in the appropriate Radiology/Interventional Radiology specialty, as required by the contract.
* Current, active, and unrestricted U.S. physician license.
* Current AHA BLS certification.
* Current AHA ACLS certification.
* Active DEA registration, if required for assigned clinical duties.
* Current NPI number.
* Appropriate training and demonstrated clinical competency in Interventional Radiology.
* Ability to obtain and maintain required credentialing and clinical privileges.
* Ability to work on-site in Syracuse, New York.
* Excellent professional references and satisfactory credentialing/background requirements.

Working Hours

Monday through Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

This is an on-site position in Syracuse, New York.

The opportunity is expected to be a long-term assignment through October 2031, providing physicians with a consistent weekday daytime schedule.

Any specific call, holiday, emergency coverage, or schedule variations will be discussed with candidates if applicable to the final assignment.
