Interventional Radiologist Locum Opportunity | Boise, Idaho | October Coverage

Med Ninjas is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens assignment at an acute care hospital in Boise, Idaho.

This is a short-term coverage opportunity combining weekday in-house shifts with evening and weekend call.

Assignment Details

• Location: Boise, Idaho
• Coverage Dates: October 11 through October 17, 2026
• Weekday Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend Coverage: 24-hour call
• Setting: Acute care hospital
• Travel: Covered
• Privileges: Emergency privileges may be available for candidates with a clean background

Required Procedures

The physician must be comfortable performing:

• Trauma embolization
• Pulmonary thrombectomy
• Gastric tube placement
• Biliary and cholecystostomy tube placement
• Nephrostomy and ureteral stenting
• Dialysis graft and fistula stenting
• Body arteriography
• IVC filter placement and removal

Experience with additional advanced Interventional Radiology procedures, including TIPS, ablation, arterial and venous interventions, Y-90, chemoembolization, uterine fibroid embolization, and limb-salvage procedures, is preferred.

Requirements

• Active Idaho medical license or IMLC eligibility in hand
• Availability for the complete October 11 through October 17 coverage block
• Relevant Interventional Radiology procedural experience
• Clean professional background for emergency-privilege consideration
