Physician – Interventional Radiology | Locum Tenens | Springfield, OH
We are seeking a Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist to provide onsite coverage at a regional medical center in Springfield, Ohio.
Position Details

Position Overview
- Patient Population: Adult
- Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient Hospital
- Responsibilities: Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, embolization, port catheter placement, biopsies, drain placements, ablations, and kyphoplasty. Provide onsite procedural coverage with night and weekend call as scheduled.
- Patient Volume: Approximately 12 patients per day
- Practice Mix: 70% Outpatient / 30% Inpatient
- EMR System: Epic
- Coverage Reason: Provider retirement
- Call Requirements: Weeknight and weekend call
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30–60 days (temporary privileges available)
Requirements
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
- Active BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Active DEA Registration
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Ohio Medical License preferred
