Qualifications

• Board certified in Interventional Radiology (Interventional Radiologist or IR Physician)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in interventional radiology
• Proficiency performing a wide range of IR procedures (excluding neuro IR)
• Experience with diagnostic imaging modalities: CT, XR (X-ray), and US (ultrasound)
• Familiarity with RPCE Tech Stack and Powerscribe 4.0 preferred
• Ability to meet higher New York medical malpractice limits and maintain appropriate NY licensure

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive interventional radiology services, including paracentesis, thoracentesis, embolization, drain placements, and other procedures
• Deliver general radiology interpretation and procedures for CT, X-ray, and ultrasound
• Participate in weekday onsite coverage and rotate weeknight, weekend, and holiday IR call
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons, emergency medicine, ICU teams, and multidisciplinary colleagues in a level one trauma center environment
• Ensure high-quality patient care, safety, and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and New York state regulations
