Radiology Interventional Physician
Elevate your medical career by joining our dynamic radiology team as a Radiology Interventional Physician. This pivotal role offers an exceptional opportunity to deliver high-quality interventional radiology services within a state-of-the-art hospital environment. You will be instrumental in managing a diverse patient population, performing advanced procedures, and contributing to innovative care in a collaborative setting.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Radiology with fellowship training in Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Valid medical license and DEA certification in your practicing state
- Minimum of a few years of IR practice experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Ability to perform advanced IR procedures such as kyphoplasty, ablations, PAD interventions, GAE, and related specialties
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and team collaboration abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working in a hospital setting with multi-disciplinary teams
- Familiarity with higher-end IR procedures and complex case management
- Additional certifications in specialized IR techniques or related fields
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology with at least several years of relevant practice
Other Requirements:
- Availability for a 2-week per month coverage schedule, day shifts (07:30 – 16:00, 3x12-hour shifts)
- Ability to support staff and work within a high-volume interventional radiology department
- Willingness to support procedures with hospital credentialing within approximately 120 days (sooner if possible)
- Travel, licensure, certification, and related reimbursements when applicable
