Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 – $7,280
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (contract) — Interventional Radiology locum
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (8am–5pm MST)
• On-site: Yes (Sun City West / Phoenix metro)
• Call Coverage: Rotated with current IR practice, including holidays
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• End Date: September 2, 2026
• Productivity: Minimum 61 RVUs per shift

Qualifications

• Completion of Interventional Radiology Fellowship (Vascular and Interventional Radiology / VIR)
• ABR Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology certification (ABR-certified)
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
• Experience with general fluoroscopy procedures is a plus
• Familiarity with Powerscribe 1 dictation preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Interventional Radiology services, including inpatient and outpatient care
• Perform procedures such as biopsy, drain placement, nephrostomy, gastrostomy, embolization, IVC filter placement, fistulagram with declot, biliary and venous interventions
• Cover general fluoro procedures during day shifts and on-call
• Participate in rotating call and holiday coverage with the IR practice
• Meet productivity expectations and complete timely reporting using Powerscribe 1
