Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Interventional Radiology Fellowship (Interventional Radiologist qualifications)
• ABR Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology certification (ABR-certified RAD/IR)
• Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience
• Proven ability to perform IR procedures including biopsy, drain placement, nephrostomy, gastrostomy, embolization, IVC filter placement, fistulagram with declot, biliary and venous interventions
• General fluoroscopy procedures experience is a plus (IR On-Call covers fluoro On-Call)
• Experience with Powerscribe 1 dictation system preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite interventional radiology services and general radiology reads (interventional radiologist responsibilities)
• Perform a wide range of IR procedures as listed above (endovascular, image-guided interventions)
• Participate in rotating call and holiday coverage with the current IR practice (call schedule, on-call duties)
• Meet productivity expectations (minimum 61 RVUs per shift)
• Utilize Powerscribe 1 dictation system for timely and accurate reporting
