Job Overview

We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a new locum position in Illinois. Providers will perform a broad range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for inpatient and outpatient services, supporting two hospital sites.

Responsibilities

  • 20+ shifts/month, consecutive shifts preferred
  • Weekday clinic 8–10 hours and weekend 24-hour IR call
  • CT- and ultrasound-guided biopsies (lung, thyroid, renal, liver, bone, lymph node, bone marrow)
  • Drain placements and management (abscess drains, chest tubes, drain exchanges)
  • Biliary procedures
  • GI and GU interventions
  • Vascular procedures and hemodialysis access
  • Oncology-related interventional procedures
  • Collaborate with hospital teams, procedural staff, and referring physicians
  • EMR: Epic

Qualifications

  • Board Certified (IR)
  • MD or DO
  • Active Illinois medical license
  • DEA and ACLS required
  • Minimum 1 year of IR experience
