American Vascular Associates is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist for our center in Gulf Coast, Mississippi. This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established outpatient Office-Based Lab (OBL) focused on delivering cutting-edge vascular and interventional procedures, with a strong focus on PAD treatments, embolizations, superficial and deep venous interventions. We offer a dynamic environment that combines advanced technology and patient-focused care in a physician-driven model. We are looking to add an IR with experience in embolics. Our patient population would benefit greatly from GAE, UFE, Hemorrhoid, Plantar Fasciitis, procedures.
This is a unique opportunity to work split your work schedule within the outpatient lab and Memorial Hospital in Biloxi.


Job Responsibilities

Perform embolics Procedures: Conduct advanced interventional procedures & treatments such as ablations, embolizations, and venous interventions.
Patient Care: Provide high-quality, patient-focused care in an outpatient Office-Based Lab (OBL) setting.
Practice Building: Engage in some community outreach and patient education.
Collaborate: Work closely with a network of vascular centers and a supportive corporate structure.
Maintain Licensing and Certification: Ensure compliance with medical licensing and maintain board certification in Interventional Radiology.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology
• Fellowship training in interventional radiology required
• Active Mississippi medical license or ability to obtain
• Preferably 3+ years of interventional/vascular experience, but new graduates with strong fellowship experience will be considered
• Willingness to engage in practice building and community outreach

Working Hours

May vary from time to time, but generally 9am to 5pm.

Proficient in interventional radiology techniques with minimal diagnostic imaging.
Strong patient-care focus with the ability to provide compassionate, efficient outpatient care.
Excellent communication skills for patient education and community outreach.
Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and build positive relationships.
Leadership potential and a proactive approach to practice growth and development.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in a clinical setting.
Adaptability in using advanced medical technology and staying updated on interventional procedures.
