Locum - Radiology: Interventional - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum Physician - Radiology - Interventional

Join a reputable healthcare facility located in the scenic city of Grass Valley, California. This general acute care hospital is stroke-certified and offers a comprehensive range of services to meet the needs of its diverse patient population. As a Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch medical imaging and interventional procedures, with a focus on collaboration and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hospital coverage for radiological services, including interventional radiology.
• Perform necessary procedures such as lumbar punctures, barium studies, CT/US biopsies, and various centesis exams.
• Conduct stroke CTs and manage emergency department imaging studies.
• Oversee outpatient imaging at the affiliated building, including contrasted CTs, MRIs, and breast biopsies.
• Contribute to the interpretation of approximately 50 studies daily and perform 4-6 procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with diagnostic imaging nurses and technicians.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Radiology - Required
• Valid State License - Required
• Completed Residency and/or Fellowship in Radiology - Required
• BLS and DEA certifications - Required during credentialing
• CA Fluoroscopy certification - Required at submission
• Clean malpractice history - Preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report, dated within 30 days of presentation - Required
• Availability for immediate engagement upon clearing name - Required

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified in Radiology
• Active State License
• BLS, DEA, and CA Fluoroscopy certifications
