Locum - Physician - Interventional Radiology – Bismarck, ND
Join a prestigious healthcare team as a Locum Interventional Radiologist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care at CHI St. Alexius Bismarck. This opportunity offers a challenging yet rewarding environment where your expertise in interventional procedures will directly impact patient outcomes. This role involves performing a comprehensive range of interventional radiology procedures, including diagnostic vascular interventions, angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, embolization, vascular access device placements, biopsies, drainages, and other minimally invasive procedures. While stroke intervention is preferred, it is not mandatory; proficiency in general IR procedures is essential. The typical on-site day involves performing 10-15 procedures, with call responsibilities including evening and weekend shifts, as well as holiday coverage.
Candidates should possess strong IR general experience, comprehensive knowledge of the listed procedures, and be licensed to practice in North Dakota. The ability to work independently during procedures without reading diagnostics in between cases is preferred. Flexibility during on-call hours and the willingness to participate in credentialing processes are required to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $0.00, with comprehensive benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, medical benefits, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral program.
