Job Title: Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional
Join our dedicated team at a well-regarded general acute care hospital located in the scenic city of Grass Valley, California. Our facility, known for its commitment to providing high-quality healthcare, is seeking an experienced Radiologist to cover both inpatient and outpatient imaging needs, ensuring the best care for our patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide hospital coverage for Radiology services, including interventional radiology needs.
- Perform a variety of procedures such as lumbar punctures, barium studies, and other centesis exams.
- Conduct stroke CTs and other acute care imaging studies.
- Oversee procedures in our outpatient building, including contrasted CTs and MRIs.
- Support staff includes Diagnostic Imaging Nurses and Technicians, with a large Radiology group for overflow and after-hours reads.
- Responsible for interpreting approximately 50 studies and performing 4-6 procedures daily.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology - Required
- Valid California State License - Required
- Completion of an accredited Residency/Fellowship - Required
- Current BLS and DEA certifications during credentialing - Required
- CA Fluoroscopy certification at submission - Required
- Clean malpractice history - Preferred
- Availability at the time of name clear - Required
- Self-Query NPDB report, dated within the last 30 days - Required
License and Certification Requirements:
- Physician must hold a valid California State License.
- A current BLS certification is mandatory.
- DEA certification is also required during the credentialing process.
- CA Fluoroscopy certification is needed at the time of submission.
