Locum - Radiology: Interventional - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional

Join our dedicated team at a well-regarded general acute care hospital located in the scenic city of Grass Valley, California. Our facility, known for its commitment to providing high-quality healthcare, is seeking an experienced Radiologist to cover both inpatient and outpatient imaging needs, ensuring the best care for our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide hospital coverage for Radiology services, including interventional radiology needs.
• Perform a variety of procedures such as lumbar punctures, barium studies, and other centesis exams.
• Conduct stroke CTs and other acute care imaging studies.
• Oversee procedures in our outpatient building, including contrasted CTs and MRIs.
• Support staff includes Diagnostic Imaging Nurses and Technicians, with a large Radiology group for overflow and after-hours reads.
• Responsible for interpreting approximately 50 studies and performing 4-6 procedures daily.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology - Required
• Valid California State License - Required
• Completion of an accredited Residency/Fellowship - Required
• Current BLS and DEA certifications during credentialing - Required
• CA Fluoroscopy certification at submission - Required
• Clean malpractice history - Preferred
• Availability at the time of name clear - Required
• Self-Query NPDB report, dated within the last 30 days - Required

License and Certification Requirements:

• Physician must hold a valid California State License.
• A current BLS certification is mandatory.
• DEA certification is also required during the credentialing process.
• CA Fluoroscopy certification is needed at the time of submission.
