Seeking multiple locum Interventional Radiologists to support a transition from a group model to employed staffing. This is a hospital-based role with daytime coverage and required 24-hour onsite call, including nights and weekends, in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center with full clinical support.
Job Responsibilities
Provide weekday onsite coverage with 24-hour call responsibilities
Cover nights and weekends onsite as required
Interpret imaging and perform fluoroscopic procedures as applicable
Utilize EPIC, PowerScribe, and PACS systems for documentation and reporting
Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams in a high-acuity environment
Maintain quality, safety, and patient-centered care standards
Qualifications
Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology (highly preferred)
Active Connecticut medical license or eligibility to obtain
DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification
BLS certification (ACLS optional depending on subspecialty)
Experience in high-volume, integrated health system environments
Ability to perform fluoroscopy (must be noted at submission)
Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days at time of presentation)
Working Hours
24-hour onsite call coverage, including nights and weekends
Assignment length: 3–6 months starting March 21, 2026 (extension possible)
