As a Radiology Interventional Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering life-saving procedures, managing complex cases, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in Idaho or IMLC in hand
- Proven expertise in interventional radiology procedures
- Ability to perform trauma embolization, pulmonary thrombectomy, gastric and biliary tube placement, nephrostomy, ureteral stenting, dialysis graft/fistula stenting, and IVC filter placement/removal
- Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with cryoablation, thermal ablation, TIPS, Y90, chemoembolization, limb salvage procedures, PAE, gonadal vein embolization, uterine fibroid embolization, pseudoaneurysm treatment, vertebral biopsies
- Experience in trauma or emergency radiology procedures
- Bilingual abilities or additional certifications in interventional radiology
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Board-certified or eligible in Interventional Radiology
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in interventional radiology practice
Other Requirements:
- Availability for coverage in April and May
- Ability to work Mon-Fri from 8 AM to 5 PM, with evening (5 PM - 7 AM) and weekend call responsibilities
- Call back volume expected to be 0-1 responses during weekdays and 3-4 interventions during weekends
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and perform procedures during designated hours
- Travel and shift reimbursements included as applicable
