JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Interventional Radiologist
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Manteca, CA
• Service Setting: Outpatient
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 5:00p
COVERAGE DATES
• Start Date: January 26, 2026 (ASAP)
• End Date: Ongoing
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adults
• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 6–10 interventional procedures per day
• Phone Consults: As clinically appropriate
• Case Mix: Outpatient interventional radiology procedures
FACILITY INFORMATION
• No. of Beds in Department: Outpatient only
• EMR System: AdvancedMD
• Office Equipment Available: Fully equipped outpatient interventional radiology suite
• Support Staff Available: Radiology technologists, nurses, and medical assistants
• Reason for Coverage: Ongoing outpatient coverage need
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: No
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 24–48 hours
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Dialysis access procedures
• Catheter placements and exchanges
• Declot procedures
• Fistulagrams
• Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) interventions
• Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) interventions
• Full range of outpatient interventional radiology procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active California medical license
• Board: Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: As required for outpatient interventional radiology practice
• Experience: Outpatient interventional radiology experience
• Other Qualifications: Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient setting
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform outpatient interventional radiology procedures
• Manage patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Document procedures and encounters accurately in the EMR
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality of care
