We are seeking an Interventional Radiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in North Dakota. This is a hospital-based role with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

Assignment Overview

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Ongoing, full-time coverage (details discussed during interview)
  • IR Capacity: 3 Interventional Radiology rooms and 1 CT room
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – open-ended
  • On-Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Average Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day
Requirements and Procedures
  • Board Certification: Interventional Radiology
  • CT-Guided Procedures: Biopsies, aspiration and drainage
  • Vascular & Interventional Radiology
    • Diagnostic angiography (venous and arterial)
    • Angioplasty (venous and arterial)
    • Stenting (venous and arterial)
    • Thrombolytic therapy (venous and arterial)
    • Embolization therapy (venous and arterial)
    • Vascular access devices / PICC lines
    • IVC filter placement
    • TIPS
  • Non-Vascular Interventions (Emergent Only)
    • Aspiration and drainage procedures
      • With percutaneous tube insertion
      • With dilation and/or stent
    • Percutaneous needle biopsies
      • Above diaphragm
      • Below diaphragm
      • Bone
    • Extractions
      • Biliary
      • Renal
