Job description
Locum Interventional Radiologist
Seeking a Locum Interventional Radiologist beginning February 2026, with an initial 3–6 month assignment and the possibility to extend based on ongoing needs. This opportunity supports coverage due to two departing providers and offers a mix of onsite and remote work in a hospital-based setting.
Schedule & Coverage

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

One onsite day dedicated to diagnostic breast imaging

Remote/teleradiology possible 2–3 days per week (TBD)
Practice Setting & Environment
-
Hospital-based practice with some remote coverage
-
Annual ED volume: approximately 120 patients per day

Radiology team: 8 physicians currently, transitioning to 6 after February
-
Full complement of support staff
-
EMR/Systems: Epic, PowerScribe, PACS
-
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days
Clinical Responsibilities

Diagnostic reads including:
-
Mammography
-
CT
-
PET/CT
-
Nuclear Medicine
-
Ultrasound
-
Pediatric studies
-
MRI (basic neuro, brain, spine, MSK, MS)

Interventional procedures:
-
Interventional breast and thyroid FNAs
-

Patient population: adolescent, pediatric, adult, and geriatric
Provider Requirements
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
-
Active Massachusetts license or proof of application submitted at least 3 months prior
-
ACLS and BLS certifications required
