Locums Interventional Radiology Physician in Kentucky - Rotating Block Schedule
Interventional Radiology Physician locums opportunity in Kentucky near Huntington Tri State Airport offering ongoing rotating block coverage.
Highlights
- Two weeks on, one week off rotation
- Dedicated IR role with no diagnostic reads
- Strong APP and physician support
- Active stroke and vascular program
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient IR
- Four IR suites including one biplane plus CT access
- Two IR physicians on weekdays
- APP coverage daily with weekend support
Schedule
- 8 to 10 hour procedural days
- Week 1 call coverage
- Week 2 outpatient and procedural focus
- Week 3 off
Cases and Procedures
- Stroke thrombectomy and pulmonary embolism intervention
- Biopsies, drains, ports, and central lines
- Dialysis access, nephrostomies, embolizations, IVC filters
- TIPS and other bread and butter IR
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Radiology Physician
- Active Kentucky license required
- Ohio license preferred
- Ability to perform vascular cases, including thrombectomy
