We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity at a hospital-based Interventional Radiology Lab in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This assignment is ASAP and ongoing, with full-time coverage needed.
Position Overview

Specialty: Interventional Radiology

Practice Setting: Hospital-based | Inpatient & Outpatient

Facilities: 3 IR Rooms and 1 CT Room

Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day

Support Staff: RNs, Radiology Techs, NP, and dedicated scheduling staff
Schedule & Call

Work Hours: 8:00 AM – open-ended
-
On-Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Responsibilities
CT-Guided Procedures:
Biopsies
Aspiration and drainage
Vascular & Interventional Radiology:
Diagnostic angiography (venous & arterial)
Angioplasty (venous & arterial)
Stenting (venous & arterial)
Thrombolytic therapy (venous & arterial)
Embolization therapy (venous & arterial)
Vascular access devices/PICCs
IVC filters
TIPS
Non-Vascular (Emergent Only):
Aspiration/drainage procedures (with percutaneous tube insertion, dilation, and/or stent)
Percutaneous needle biopsies (above diaphragm, below diaphragm, and bone)
Extractions (biliary and renal)
Special Procedures:
Abscess drainage
Thoracentesis
Paracentesis
Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram
Requirements:
Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
ND License or IMLC
Qualifications
$4,500 per day
On-call rate: $850
Call-back rate: $700
Travel ,lodging covered.
