Position Overview
One of our Partners in South Carolina is seeking two Board-Certified Interventional Radiologists to provide 24-hour call coverage within the Upstate Float Pool
Physicians work on-site Monday – Friday (8 AM – 5 PM) and remain on call from 5 PM – 8 AM, with rotating weekend responsibilities shared among 3–4 radiologists. Callback compensation begins only after the 8 AM – 5 PM on-site shift concludes.
This high-acuity Interventional Radiology assignment offers premium call pay, callback rates, and holiday multipliers.
Total estimated earnings exceed $560,000
Pay Ranking: Top 10% of market (2025 data).

Skills & Experience
-
Board Certified (ABR) in Interventional Radiology

Active South Carolina license (required)

DEA & SC CSR (required)
-
BLS & ACLS (required)
-
Prior Cerner experience preferred

Capable of full spectrum diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures

Excellent team communication across multi-facility settings
Job Responsibilities

Perform a comprehensive range of image-guided procedures

Collaborate with NPs and technologists for workflow efficiency

Participate in rotating overnight and weekend call schedule

Respond to callbacks (after 5 PM) at the designated hourly rate

Document encounters and procedures in Cerner EMR
-
Maintain compliance with hospital policy and credentialing requirements
