JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Interventional Radiologist
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Greenville, SC
• Service Setting: Hospital
• Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
• Coverage Period: March 16, 2026 – Ongoing
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-Call Shift Schedule: Weeknights 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM and weekend call coverage
• Call Type: Beeper
• Call Ratio: Split between 3–4 Interventional Radiologists
COVERAGE DATES
• Ongoing monthly coverage beginning March 16, 2026
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adults
• Patient Volume/Census: Average 5–6 procedures per weekday
• Phone Consults: Yes
• Case Mix: Interventional Radiology procedures
FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Cerner
• Office Equipment Available: Standard Interventional Radiology equipment
• Specialty Backup Available: Radiology subspecialty support
• Support Staff Available: Interventional Radiology technologists, Nurse Practitioners
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage within Prisma Health Upstate Float Pool
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges Available: No
• Credentialing Timeline: 90–120 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Standard Interventional Radiology procedures as required by hospital privileges
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active South Carolina medical license
• Board: Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Interventional Radiology
• DEA: Active South Carolina DEA registration
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Experience: Prior Interventional Radiology experience required
• Other Qualifications: Cerner EMR proficiency
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide Interventional Radiology services during scheduled onsite and on-call coverage
• Perform a full range of Interventional Radiology procedures in accordance with hospital protocols
• Respond to call coverage during designated hours, including weekends
• Collaborate with Interventional Radiology technologists and advanced practice providers
• Document all clinical encounters accurately and timely within the Cerner EMR system
