Dates / Schedule

Schedule: Full-time, day-shift

Call: Q3 call — every third weekday and every third weekend

Call Ratio: 1:3 among Interventional Radiologists

Credentialing: Estimated 90 days; fast-track available due to urgent need
Job Details / Responsibilities

Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology

Team: 3 Interventional Radiologists + 2 APPs, supported by an IR manager

Trauma Level: Level I
-
Average Cases: Approximately 8 per day

Patient Population: Primarily adult, including frequent geriatric patients

Required Procedures:

Angioplasty
-
Stent placement
-
Embolization
-
Needle biopsy
-
Thrombolysis
-
Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)

Ortho, GYN, and Urology IR cases (required or preferred)

Support: On-campus lodging available if needed

Reimbursement: Mileage at IRS standard rate
Required Skills & Qualifications

Board-Certified Radiologist

Active Michigan medical license

BLS & ACLS certifications

Local provider (mileage-only reimbursement)

Clean malpractice and license history strongly preferred
