Join Our Team as a Locum Interventional Radiologist in Lansing, MI – Make an Impact in Hospital-Based Care

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to provide vital imaging and minimally invasive procedures at a prominent Level I Trauma Hospital in Lansing, MI. This full-time locum position offers you the opportunity to work within a skilled team committed to delivering exceptional patient care, while offering flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. Required Skills:
  • Medical Doctor (MD) degree with Board Certification in Radiology
  • Valid State Medical License in Michigan or eligibility to obtain one
  • Proven experience in interventional radiology procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE
  • Ability to perform a minimum of 8 cases per day
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in Level I trauma centers
  • Familiarity with orthopedic, gynecological, or urological procedures
  • Prior locum or temporary staffing experience
  • Knowledge of EMR systems (specific system not specified)

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or equivalent medical degree
  • Completion of Radiology residency and fellowship in Interventional Radiology
  • Minimum of 3 years post-fellowship clinical experience in interventional radiology
  • Active Michigan medical license or eligibility

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to start on or before 01/01/2026
  • Ability to provide coverage for a minimum of three weeks per month, with opportunities for additional travel
  • Willingness to support Q3 call schedule (every third weekday and weekend)
  • Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate; lodging provided on campus if needed
  • Credentialing to be completed within approximately 90 days, with fast-track options available
