Locums – Interventional Radiologist | Lansing, Michigan
Position Overview
Seeking a full-time Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) to join a 3-physician / 2-APP IR team providing hospital-based IR services with weekday day shifts and Q3 call rotation.
Schedule & Call
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call: Q3 call — every 3rd weekday + every 3rd weekend
- Weekend Coverage: 3rd weekend rotation
- On-Call Requirement: Yes (weekday & weekend)
- Setting: Hospital-based
- Trauma Designation: Level I Trauma Center
- Average Cases: ~8 cases/day
- Patient Population: Primarily adults; geriatric patients common
- IR Team: 3 Interventional Radiologists + 2 APPs
- Support Staff: Department manager + 2 APPs
- Angioplasty
- Stent placement
- Embolization
- Needle biopsy
- Thrombolysis
- UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)
- Board-Certified Radiologist
- Active Michigan Medical License
- BLS & ACLS Certifications
- Local Provider Only
- Role: Interventional Radiologist (Locums)
- Location: Lansing, MI
- Schedule: M–F 7a–5p
- Call: Q3 (weekday + weekend)
- Cases: 8/day
- Trauma Level: I
- Requirements: BC Radiology, MI license, BLS/ACLS, experienced in full IR procedure spectrum
