Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiologist - Locum Position
Join a dynamic team at UMH Sparrow Lansing Main Hospital, a premier healthcare facility in Lansing, Michigan. We are seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) to enhance our dedicated 3-physician and 2-APP IR team. This hospital-based practice offers an engaging day-shift schedule with Q3 call coverage, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for patient care. The facility is well-equipped, enabling you to perform a variety of procedures while caring primarily for adult patients, including a significant geriatric population.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of interventional radiology procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization).
- Participate in the call schedule, providing coverage every third weekday and weekend.
- Collaborate with the IR support team, consisting of a manager and APPs.
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and patient care discussions.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified Radiologist (mandatory).
- Active Michigan State Medical License (mandatory).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory).
- Prior experience in interventional radiology.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Radiology (required).
- Active Michigan Medical License (required).
- BLS Certification (required).
- ACLS Certification (required).
- Clean malpractice and license history preferred.
