Job Title: Locum Physician - Interventional Radiology
Join a dynamic team at a prestigious hospital in Lansing, Michigan, as a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist. This facility offers state-of-the-art hospital-based services and has a dedicated IR team consisting of three physicians and two advanced practice providers. Enjoy a structured day-shift schedule with every third weekday and weekend on call, providing an ideal work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional radiological procedures including angioplasty, stent placements, embolizations, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization).
- Support a team of two APPs in delivering patient care.
- Manage and assess adult patient demographics, ensuring high-quality treatment delivery.
- Participate in on-call rotations, covering both weekdays and weekends.
- Collaborate effectively with other medical professionals to ensure a comprehensive care approach.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology.
- Current Michigan State Medical License (active and non-compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certifications.
- Clean malpractice and license history preferred.
- Experience in clinic or hospital settings preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology: Required
- Active State Medical License in Michigan: Required
- BLS Certification: Required
- ACLS Certification: Required
- Local provider preferred for mileage reimbursement, with consideration for travel providers who can offer consistent coverage.
