Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced physician for Pediatric Interventional Radiology to work locum shifts in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania (PA). Starting January 5, 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
Pediatric Interventional Radiology Role:
- Dates- March 1, 2026– ongoing, 7:30am-5pm
- Minimum of 5 shifts, 20 open shifts per month (fulltime needs)
- Typical day- outpatient same-day Anesthesia cases in the morning, followed by Anesthesia add on cases, then non-anesthesia cases.
- Procedures- Biopsies, chest tubes, some biliary cases (Biliary drain placements) and salivary gland injections. Surgical 100.00%
- Call- No admissions during the week, consultations are managed by NP and PA.
- EMR- Transitioning to EPIC- Currently Cerner
Requirements for Pediatric Interventional Radiology Role:
- PA state license; active, unrestricted- Open to waiting on license for right candidate
- Active Board certification- American Board of Radiology
- Certifications- BLS and PALS
- 5 years of experience
