Job description
Interventional Radiologist needed at a Level II trauma center on the west coast of Florida. This is an 80% IR / 20% DR onsite role with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, Q4 call, and strong hourly compensation. Broad procedural mix plus general diagnostic reads. Temps available for a clean background.
Procedures / Clinical Scope
- Angiography
- Kyphoplasty & vertebroplasty
- CT-guided biopsies
- Port placement
- Drainages & CT drains
- Ablations
- Ultrasound-guided paracentesis & thoracentesis
- Uterine fibroid embolization
- Vena cavagram
- Abdominal aorta angiography
- Chest tubes
- Additional standard trauma IR procedures
Diagnostic work is approximately 20% of the load, including general diagnostic reads and other modalities (CT, MRI, etc.).
Requirements
- Board Certified Radiologist
- Interventional experience with trauma-level procedures
- Comfortable working in a high-acuity environment
- Ability to meet minimum 45 RVU/shift productivity
- Willing to participate in Q4 call rotation
