We are looking for a board certified Gastroenterologist for a Locums opportunity in Virginia.
Highlights-
Highlights-
- Practice Setting: Hospital Call (Saturday and Sunday) - weekends
- Clinical Areas: Adult, Hospital, Office/Clinic
- Lab & X-Ray onsite
- Outpatient Gastroenterology & Internal Medicine Required
- EMR: Epic
- No trauma disignation
- Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry
- Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
- Small Bowel Biopsy
- Lower GI Endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Liver Biopsy
- Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube
- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Upper GI Endoscopy: with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal, with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser), with Injection of Varices, with Banding of Varices, with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic, with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
- On average 8 procedures per weekend: GSI, Hepatology, RGA, Surgery, Colon, Egd, ERCP
Qualifications
VA license
Flu shot
COVID Vaccine
Must be available to cover open shift to be considered
Clean malpractice history required for temp privs
