Locum Interventional Radiologist – Dover, Ohio
Willing to License | IMLC Accepted (LOQ Must Be in Hand)
Schedule / Availability
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- Duration: 6-month contract (option to extend)
- Coverage Needed: Minimum 1 week per month
- Days/Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Number of Positions: 2
- Board Certification: Required (Radiology)
- Ohio Medical License: Required (willing to license)
- IMLC: Accepted (must have LOQ in hand)
- ACLS & BLS: Required
- Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years
- References: 2 required
- Position: Interventional Radiologist with general diagnostic responsibilities
- Expected to read from the general worklist when not performing procedures
- Mix of IR procedures + diagnostic reads (approx. 50–70 reads/day)
- CT/US-Guided Procedures: Abscess drainages, biopsies (lung, liver, kidney, bone), chest tubes, thyroid FNAs, lumbar punctures, myelograms
- Other Procedures: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy tube exchanges/placements, suprapubic catheter placements, PICC/port/dialysis catheter placements
- Fluoroscopy: All exams required
- Patient Population: Adults, geriatrics
- Case Mix: Inpatient, outpatient, and occasional STAT reads
- Volume: 50–70 studies/day (approx. 50% cross-sectional when not performing procedures)
